We are negotiating a new long-term cooperation project with a Chinese state-owned marine 

containers company. The project will cover most stress and product analyses, optimizing and 

design for their shipping containers, oil containers, low-temperature liquid-filled containers 

and special container vehicles etc. The problems to be solved include strength, stiffness, 

corrosion and fatigue of their related products, and analyzing the structural stability and 

stiffness due to local and fatigue damages. The project also involves some special technical 

difficulties, for example, train collision for carrying pressurized, flammable or hazardous 

liquid-filled container etc., which in future may need some experiments on train tracks 

in Britain. ISO and ASME are the industry standards for the design of marine containers, 

and ABS (American standard) is used for vehicles. As the project is long term, we also look 

for a UK partner with strong technical team and related experience in similar stress analysis
